You will find yourself in a truly fairytale-like environment, thanks to the atmosphere of the place and the quiet, intimate names of its corners: it is not easy to choose between rooms such as Margaréta, Tulipán, Fecskefészek or Gólya-lak. But once you have chosen, and if you are the early-bird type, you can enjoy your delicious breakfast in the Rigó room, then spend the rest of the day discovering the wonderful Alpokalja region by bicycle. Thanks to its fortunate location, this place is almost like the heart and soul of the Pannonian region: Kőszeg, Írott-kő, Burgenland, Bükfürdő, the Lutzmannsburg Sonnentherme, Sopron, Lake Fertő and Eisenstadt are all within reach. And after a full day of exploring, sightseeing or bathing, you can relax undisturbed in the cosy nest of your chosen room or unwind in the garden hot tub jacuzzi.
Napvirág-Ház ★★★★ is located in Zsira, in the Alpokalja region, in a quiet place near the Austrian-Hungarian border. The guesthouse welcomes guests all year round. It is ideal for couples, families, families with small children, friends and larger groups who love rural romance and would like to retreat for a shorter or longer time from the noise of the city, enjoying peaceful and nature-close relaxation.
Our guesthouse consists of three main units: the earlier Flower Wing, built in 2006, the Bird Wing, built in 2010, and the Nefelejcs event hall opened in 2026. Guests can choose from the following rooms: Margaréta (2+2 beds), Napraforgó (2+2 beds), Tulipán (accessible room, 2+2 beds), Rózsa Studio (two-room studio, 6 beds + dining corner), Fecskefészek (two-room unit, 4 beds), Gólya-lak (accessible room, 2+2 beds) and Cinege (2+1 beds). At full capacity, the guesthouse can accommodate 29 people.
Breakfast is available on request and is served in the 20-person lounge located in the Bird Wing, in the Rigó room, or in the Nefelejcs Hall for larger groups. Self-catering is also possible in the fully equipped kitchen with dining area in the house, known as the Liliom room.
Free Wi-Fi connection is available.
You can recharge both physically and mentally in our Sauna-kerengő, where a six-person Finnish sauna, a two-person tourmaline infrared sauna, a bucket shower and a lounge area await our guests. The sauna can be used at any time, as it operates with a token system. Our solarium service is also available. You can further enhance your body-and-soul relaxation in the garden hot tub jacuzzi, where up to 4 people can relax at the same time.
Our guesthouse is surrounded by a large arboretum-like courtyard and extensive green area, where evenings are peaceful and cheerful. Benches and loungers are available on the green islands for relaxation. We can provide grilling and cauldron-cooking facilities. On request, we organise garden parties where we also offer oven-baked dishes. Children are welcomed with a swing, slide and sandbox.
Guests arriving by car can park their cars in our enclosed courtyard.
Dogs are welcome in the guesthouse, and they can also be accommodated in the recently built dog kennel in the courtyard.
The Nyugat-Bringa bike house is located in our courtyard, where bicycles and other cycling accessories can be rented. Anyone who would like to explore the surrounding landscape can easily do so on two wheels, thanks to the cycle paths developed in the region.
At Napvirág-Ház ★★★★, guests can also rent table tennis equipment and Nordic walking poles. We are a family-friendly, baby-friendly and dog-friendly guesthouse.
The Nefelejcs Hall is truly unforgettable both in its appearance and in the services it offers. A wide range of events can be imagined here, including family and friendly celebrations (birthdays, name days, engagements), team building with colleagues, class reunions, professional lectures and seminars. Since the Salamonfa Church is next to our house, Catholic weddings and baptisms can also be held here. The only limit to the wide range of events is our capacity: for seated table programmes, the hall is ideal for 35 people, while for lecture-style row seating we can accommodate 50 people.
